Shares subscribed with warrants in Solteq Plc

SOLTEQ PLC STOCK EXCHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT ON January 4th, 2008

A total of 8,100 shares in Solteq Plc have been subscribed with the
series 2001 A warrants, a total of 4,900 shares in Solteq Plc have
been subscribed with the series 2003 A warrants, a total of 8,400
shares in Solteq Plc have been subscribed with the series 2003 B
warrants and a total of 1,000 shares with the series 2005 A warrants,
respectively, by December 18, 2007. The share subscription price in
accordance with the terms and conditions of the warrants is EUR 0.90
for 2001 A series warrants, EUR 0.40 for 2003 A series warrants, EUR
0.60 for 2003 B series warrants and EUR 1.30 for 2005 A series
warrants, respectively.

The corresponding increase in the share capital due to these
subscriptions with the warrants, in total EUR 1,860.74, was
registered with the Finnish Trade Register on January 4, 2008. As a
result of the increase, the share capital of Solteq currently is EUR
1,004,111.90 and the total number of shares is 12,087,729.

The holders of the new shares are entitled to all shareholders'
rights from the registration date, i.e. starting from January 4,
2008. Listing of the new shares based on subscriptions with warrants
will be applied for at the OMX Helsinki together with the old shares
beginning on or about January 7, 2008.
