Operations update August 2012

Tórshavn, Faroe Islands, 2012-09-03 21:49 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- P/F Atlantic
Petroleum (OMX: FO-ATLA) today announces that during the month of August,
Atlantic Petroleum produced a net total of 76,000 barrels of oil equivalents
(boe) from the Chestnut, Ettrick and Blackbird fields. The average daily
production was 2,452 boe per day net to the Company. This month's figures
include the down-time from the completion of the planned annual shut-downs for
our producing assets.
