Talvivaara Mining Company Plc Directors Dealings

Talvivaara Mining Company Plc ("the Company"), was notified on 10
June 2009 that, on 10 June 2009, Mr. Eero Niiva, Non-executive board
member, sold 445 000 ordinary shares at an average price of 4.264
euro each.

Following these transactions, Mr. Eero Niiva holds a total beneficial
interest in the Company of 1 492 950 shares, representing 0.67 % of
the voting rights attached to the issued ordinary share capital of
the Company.
