To secure effective supply chains serving customers through specialized business units and logistic centers Componenta business management including business units will be reorganized. The Group's customer business areas are also divided into segments and dedicated sales management, engineering and product development resources have been appointed in them. The Componenta business operations will be organized into four operational areas, Finland, Sweden, Holland and Turkey, which are led by Senior Vice Presidents. Operational development functions and processes, Supply chain management, development of foundry and machine shops technology, purchasing and internal sourcing, strengthen the operational areas and Operations management and add value to the customers. The following appointments have been made in the management and in the development of the foundry and machine shop operations. Yrjö Julin has been appointed Chief Operating Officer and the member of Componenta Executive Team, being responsible for Operations management at Componenta. He reports to Heikki Lehtonen, President and CEO of Componenta, acting also as a deputy for CEO. Olli Karhunen has been appointed Senior Vice President, Operations, Finland, Hakan Göral has been appointed Senior Vice President, Operations, Turkey, Michael Sjöberg has been appointed Senior Vice President, Operations, Sweden and Patrick Steensels has been appointed Senior Vice President, Operations, the Netherlands. The senior vice presidents have a business responsibility of operations in respective country and they report to Yrjö Julin. Michael Sjöberg is also responsible for Supply chain management in Componenta. Tapio Rantala has been appointed Vice President, Foundry technology development. He acts also as Business Unit Director, Pietarsaari foundry. Juha Alhonoja has been appointed Vice President, Machining technology development. He continues also in his position of Business Unit Director, Främmestad machine shop. Henk Klever has been appointed as Vice President, Purchasing. Lütfi Erten has been appointed Vice President, Internal sourcing. All Vice Presidents in Operations development report to Yrjö Julin. The above mentioned changes will be valid as from 1 February 2010. As from February 2010 the Corporate Executive Team (CET) of Componenta Corporation comprises the following members: President and CEO Heikki Lehtonen, COO Yrjö Julin, Hakan Göral, SVP, Operations Turkey, CFO Mika Hassinen, Anu Mankki, SVP, HR and Communication Director Pirjo Aarniovuori, as a Secretary. CET supports the President and CEO in executing the corporate strategy, by following the business development, initiating the actions and defining operative principles and methods. The Extended Corporate Executive Team, focusing on development and deployment of corporate strategy, consists of above mentioned CET members, Senior Vice Presidents of Operations, Vice Presidents of Operations, Senior Vice Presidents of Sales and Engineering Director. Enhanced way to operate in sales and product development Componenta will enhance the management of customer interface through advanced customer segmentation by formulating business segments and dedicating sales management and product development resources to customers in construction and mining, agriculture, machine building, wind power, heavy trucks and automotive. The enhanced customer focus will allow us to be more customer and market aware, and serve the customers in more dedicated manner. The following appointments have been made in sales management and engineering. Antti Lehto has been appointed Vice President, Sales and Product Development, Off-road and Central Europe. Lauri Eklin has been appointed Vice President, Sales and Product Development, Power and Nordic. Jari Leino has been appointed Vice President, Sales and Product Development, Heavy trucks. Hakan Göral, Senior Vice President, Operations Turkey is in charge of sales and product development in Turkey. All mentioned report to President and CEO Heikki Lehtonen. Hein Strijbos has been appointed Engineering Director to lead the development of engineering way to operate and capabilities development through which we ensure the One Componenta interface to customers, management and coordination of engineering projects and development of engineering resources.
