Kemira Oyj issues a EUR 150 million bond

Kemira issues a senior unsecured bond of EUR 150 million. The seven-year bond
matures on May 13, 2022 and it carries a fixed annual interest of 2.250 percent.
The offering was allocated to approximately 50 investors. Kemira will apply for
the listing of the bond on NASDAQ OMX Helsinki.

The proceeds from the bond offering will be used for general corporate purposes.

Danske Bank and SEB acted as lead managers for the transaction.
