SOCIETE GENERALE TO ISSUE TWELVE NEW TURBO WARRANTS. THE ISSUE INCLUDES TURBOS ON DAX, FORTUM, METSO, NOKIA, OUTOKUMPU, SAMPO AND STORA ENSO

SOCIETE GENERALE TO ISSUE TWELVE NEW TURBO WARRANTS. THE ISSUE INCLUDES TURBOS
ON DAX INDEX, FORTUM PLC SHARE, METSO PLC SHARE, NOKIA PLC SHARE, OUTOKUMPU PLC
SHARE, SAMPO PLC SHARE, AND STORA ENSO PLC SHARE. 

Societe Generale, one of the leading issuers of covered warrants worldwide,
issues a total of twelve new European Turbo warrants on the Helsinki Stock
Exchange (HEX). The Turbos will be subject to public trading on the HEX
Exchange List as of 13 May 2009. 

The underlying assets of the Turbos will be the DAX index, Fortum Plc share,
Metso Plc share, Nokia Plc share, Outokumpu Plc share, Sampo Plc share and
Stora Enso Plc share. The issue includes four Long Turbos and eight Short
Turbos. 

The Turbos will be issued under the Societe Generale warrant program. The
Listing Particulars of the warrant program approved by the Finnish Financial
Supervision Authority on 22 July 2008 and consisting of the Base Prospectus,
the Supplements approved by the Finnish Financial Supervision Authority on 27
August 2008, 18 November 2008, 25 February 2009, 7 April 2009, 16 April 2009
and 11 May 2009 and the Final Terms relating to the Turbos to be issued are
available as of 12 May 2009 at the Societe Generale website at
www.sglistedproducts.fi, at the office of the HEX at Fabianinkatu 14, Helsinki
and at the office of the Paying agent at Nordea Bank Finland Plc at Aleksis
Kiven katu 3-5, Helsinki.
