Siauliu Bankas AB - Notification on material event

The operating result of the bank for the first quarter of 2009

According to the pre-audited data, during the first quarter of 2009 Šiaulių     
bankas AB has earned the net profit of LTL 1.129 million (EUR 0.327 million).   
The bank's activity result was influenced by the special provisions formed for  
the doubtful assets and by the decrease of net interest income caused by the    
increase of the price of financial resources.
