Íslandsbanki hf. - Changes board/management/auditors

Islandsbanki hf. : Change in Board of Directors

New Directors to the Board of Íslandsbanki are Helga Valfells, as nominated by
ISB Holding, and Thóranna Jónsdóttir, as nominated by the Icelandic State
Financial Investments (ISFI). Gunnar Fjalar Helgason will replace Thóranna as
ISFI's alternate Board Director. The shareholders' meeting of Íslandsbanki has
approved changes to the Bank's Articles of Association, and the number of
Directors concurrently increased from seven to nine.
