The Finnish Financial Supervision Authority has on September 19, 2008 approved
Suomen Terveystalo Oyj´s securities note and a summary (“the Securities Note”)
concerning the listing of the shares offered in Suomen Terveystalo Oyj's (“the
Company”) subscription rights issue announced on September 15, 2008. 

The Company has supplemented section “Risk Factors—Risks related to
Financing—Interest Rate and Liquidity Risk” of the Registration Document as
approved by the Finnish Financial Supervision Authority on September 5, 2008 in
the Securities Note approved today by the Finnish Financial Supervision
Authority as follows: Recent events in the international financial markets may
have an adverse effect on the Company's financing expenses through, among
others things, the fact that the financers could, for example, unilaterally
increase the interest margin payable on the debts due to their own increased
funding costs. 

The Securities Note, together with the Company's registration document dated
September 5, 2008, comprises the offering circular for the shares. 

Suomen Terveystalo Oyj's offering circular in Finnish language is available as
of today on the Company's website at www.terveystalo.com, and as a printed
version starting from September 23, at the Company's address Ratapihantie 11,
00520 Helsinki and at Nasdaq OMX contact enter, Fabianinkatu 14, Helsinki. In
addition, as of September 22, 2008 to the anticipated listing of the shares on
or about October 16, 2008, the offering circular in Finnish language will be
available at www.op.fi/merkinta and as a printed version as of September 23,
2008 from the branch offices of cooperative banks within the OP-Pohjola Group
and the branch offices of Helsinki OP Bank plc that act as subscription places
in the share issue.
