Landsbankinn taps issuance of covered bonds

Today Landsbankinn has concluded the sale of non-indexed covered bonds, a tap
into the series LBANK CB 16, listed on Nasdaq OMX Iceland. The tap issuance is
for the amount of ISK 1,500,000,000 at a yield of 6,30%. Landsbankinn has
previously issued 1,920,000,000 in the same series and the total amount of the
issuance will be ISK 3,420,000,000 after this tap issuance. 

The bonds are scheduled to be admitted for trading on Nasdaq OMX Iceland on 18
March 2014, with Straumur Investment Bank acting as market maker. 

The covered bonds are issued in accordance with a licence from the Financial
Supervisory Authority (FME), with reference to Act No. 11/2008 and Rules No.
