Nordea Bank Finland Plc's Annual Report, Corporate Governance Report for 2016
and Alternative Performance Measures have been published. The documents are
attached to this release and they are available on the Internet at

Nordea Bank Finland Plc was merged to its parent company Nordea Bank AB (publ)
on 2 January 2017. As a result, all assets and liabilities of  Nordea Bank
Finland Plc were transferred to Nordea Bank AB (publ) and Nordea Bank Finland
Plc was dissolved. The banking business in Finland is now carried out in the
Finnish branch of Nordea Bank AB (publ).

The Annual Report now published covers the operations of Nordea Bank Finland Plc
and its subsidiaries in Finland and abroad. Nordea Bank Finland Plc was a
subsidiary wholly owned by Nordea Bank AB (publ). The financial statements of
Nordea Bank AB (publ) comprise the operations of the Nordea Group as a whole and
gives the best overview of the Group.

The business operations of the Nordea Group have been organised in four main

The consolidated Annual Report of Nordea Bank AB (publ) embraces all the
activities of the Nordea Group and provides the most complete and fair view. The
Finnish Mortgage Bank and Asset Management & Life operations are included in the
Annual Report of the Nordea Group.
