DNB Bankas AB - Notification on material event

Regarding the management board member

AB DNB Bankas, company code 112029270, VAT payer's code LT120292716, registered
office at J. Basanavičiaus St. 26, Vilnius, the data is collected and stored at
the Register of Legal Entities, notifies that on 1 August 2012 Per Weidemann 
will take office of a member of the Bank's management board and executive vice
president in charge of implementation of human resource management strategy.
Bank of Lithuania has granted a permission to Per Weidemann to take the office. 

Per Weidemann began his work in AB DNB Bankas on 1 January 2012 as an advisor
to the Bank's president. Prior to joining AB DNB Bankas Per Weidemann held the
position of a senior vice-president at Norway's DNB Bank ASA. Per Weidemann has
been working in DNB Bank ASA since 1994. 

Per Weidemann (born 1963) is a graduate of the Oslo Business school and holds
the degree of Master of business administration and marketing. 

Per Weidemann  has no shareholdings in AB DNB Bankas
