COMPTEL CORPORATION APPLIES FOR DELISTING OF ITS SHARES FROM NASDAQ HELSINKI

Comptel Corporation's ("Comptel") Board of Directors has decided to apply for
the termination of public trading in Comptel shares and for the delisting of all
the Comptel shares from the official list of Nasdaq Helsinki Ltd ("Nasdaq
Helsinki").
Nokia Solutions and Networks Oy ("Nokia") owns more than nine-tenths (9/10) of
all the shares and votes in Comptel and has initiated redemption proceedings in
accordance with Chapter 18 of the Finnish Companies Act in order to redeem all
the remaining Comptel shares held by the minority shareholders.
Provided that the Arbitral Tribunal appointed for the redemption proceedings
confirms that Nokia's redemption right is clear, Nokia is entitled to gain title
to all the Comptel shares against the placing of security approved by the
Arbitral Tribunal for the payment of the redemption price.
Comptel will today submit a delisting application to Nasdaq Helsinki. Comptel
will request in the application that the quotation of the Comptel shares on the
official list of Nasdaq Helsinki be terminated as soon as possible upon Nokia
having gained title to all the shares in Comptel in the redemption proceedings.
