Lietuvos Energija AB - Notification on material event

RE: Lietuvos Energija AB credit rating for borrowings in foreign currency

On 29 May 2008, the International Credit Rating Agency  Standard & Poor's
reviewed and left unchanged the corporate long-term credit rating A- of
Lietuvos Energija AB  for borrowings in foreign currency, but the rating
outlook was adjusted from the negative to the on-watch negative. In order to
resolve the credit watch placement, the credit rating agency has to analyze the
overall financial credit strength of LEO LT, AB group.
