Føroya Banki plans to release its financial results and to hold its annual
general meeting in 2010 on the following dates:

April 15 - May 6, 2010		Silent period


March 26, 2010		Annual general meeting

February 18, 2010		Announcement of Annual Report 2009

January 28 - February 18, 2010	Silent period

Immediately after the release of the results, the reports will be available on
Føroya Banki's website, www.foroya.fo 

Any shareholder who proposes business to be transacted at the annual general
meeting on March 26, 2010, must submit the proposal(s) to the Chairman and/or
the Board of Directors Secretariat not later than Monday, February 1, 2010, at
4pm.
