NORDIC ALUMINIUM PLC'S EMPLOYEE NEGOTIATIONS CONCLUDED  

Due to market downturn Nordic Aluminium Plc started employee negotiations in
compliance with the Act on Cooperation on September 25, 2008. These
negotiations have been concluded on November 6, 2008. The negotiations were
held to adapt the Company's operations to the current market situation and to
the expected operational and economical prospects. The negotiations concerned
all personnel groups. 

The conclusion of the negotiations is that there is a need to reduce
approximately 75 persons of the personnel at the Kirkkonummi and Nivala
factories. 

Part of the personnel reduction has already been accomplished during the
negotiations through reduction of rental workers and temporary personnel.
Further approximately 30 employment contracts will be terminated.
