Outotec's share repurchases completed

OUTOTEC OYJ    STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE    SEPTEMBER 26, 2012 AT 9.15 AM

OUTOTEC'S SHARE REPURCHASES COMPLETED

The share repurchase announced on September 10, 2012 has been completed. The
Company has purchased during September, 18 - September, 24, 2012 a total of
500,000 Company's own shares at an average price of approximately EUR 38.55 per
share through public trading in accordance with the rules of on the NASDAQ OMX
Helsinki Ltd. The total purchase price paid for the shares was EUR
19,274,589.43.

After the repurchases the Company holds a total of 564,327 company's own shares.

According the authorization given by Outotec's Annual general meeting a total of
4,078,037 shares can still be purchased after these repurchases. Possible future
repurchases will be announced separately.
