THE RESULT OF BIOHIT GROUP FOR 2007 TO BE WEAKER THAN ANTICIPATED

Despite continued growth in net sales during the second quarter, the result of  
Biohit Group for the whole financial year is expected to be weaker than last    
year. The result is burdened by growth in sales of both liquid handling and     
diagnostics products in Asia being slower than anticipated, and by increased    
fixed and financial costs.                                                      

The interim report including more detailed information about the financial      
performance of Biohit Group in the current financial year will be published on  
Friday 3 August 2007.
