CHANGES IN RUUKKI GROUP PLC'S MANAGEMENT                                        

Ruukki Group Plc's CFO, deputy CEO Jukka Havia resigns from the company and will
move on to new responsibilities outside the company. He continues in his duties 
until April 15, 2010. His resignation was agreed through mutual consensus.      

The search for a successor as Ruukki Group Plc's CFO has been started.          

“Jukka Havia has been working in Ruukki Group Plc since 2005, and during his    
time the company has grown and developed significantly. I would like to thank   
Jukka for a job well done and wish him all the best for the future," says CEO   
Alwyn Smit.
