Results of Vilniaus Degtinė AB (2015) 

Sales revenues including excise duty of Vilniaus Degtinė, AB grew by 4.2
percent in January-September of 2015, if compared to the same period in 2014.
Sales revenues including excise duty reached EUR 41 260k for the period
January-September of 2015, while they were equal to EUR 39 610k in the period
January-September of 2014. 

Sales revenues excluding excise duty of Vilniaus Degtinė, AB grew up by 11.0
percent in January-September of 2015 (EUR 14 582k), if compared to the same
period in 2014 (EUR 13 137k). 

Export of products of Vilniaus degtinė, AB to EU and third countries increased
by 55.5 percent in January-September of 2015, if compared with the same period
of the previous year. 

The opening of the new markets has given a big push forward to the Company.
Since the beginning of the year 2015, the Company represents its own products
as well MBWS group products in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Eastern Europe and
CIS countries. The Company’s and MBWS group’s products are constantly supplied
to the Baltic markets, Ukraine, Belarus and Georgia. In September 2015 the
Company signed agreements for the supply of goods to Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
Supply to the Russian Federation will be launched in the beginning of December. 

According to the investment plan of French Group Marie Brizard Wine & Spirits
(further – MBWS), modernisation of the only distillery in Lithuania – Obeliai
Distillery of Vilniaus degtinė has been launched this year and the total value
of investments is EUR 3.1 million. The above-mentioned investment will be made
into refurbishment of the distillery to increase productive capacities of the
plant by 1.5 times, achieving output of up to 27 thousand litre ethyl alcohol
per day. 

“Bajorų Premium” trademark was renewed in the spring 2015 – updated packaging
and launched a new advertising campaign, brought to the Company significant
sales growth of this trademark. The sales of “Bajorų Premium” trademark rose
more than twice. Another Company’s brand “Shotka” slowly makes its way into
foreign markets with the support of the MBWS Group. At this time, the focus of
investment are directed to the Spanish market – in order to introduce “Shotka”
to this market, events in Barcelona and Madrid are organized. Already from the
beginning of the next year the product will take its first steps in France, the
US and Canada. 

In the third quarter of this year the Company has renewed well-known brands in
the market such as “Čepkelių” and “Vilniaus džinas”. In summer 2015 presented
brandy “Kaligula”, already in September comprised about 8 percent in the all
brandy portfolio sold by the Company. 



In July 2014 the Company received income from other activities in amount equal
to 304 thousand EUR and there were no such income in 2015. Profit before taxes
for the January – September period of 2015 increased by 60 percent compared to
profit before taxes for the respective period of 2014, excluding the revenues
from other activities described above. And EBITDA for the January – September
period of 2015 increased by 21 percent compared to EBITDA for the respective
period of 2014, excluding the revenues from other activities described above.
