Lietuvos Energija AB - Notification on material event

NCCPAE Adopts Resolution Regarding Licensing Activities of Lietuvos Energija AB Group of Companies

On December 28, 2009 the National Control Commission for Prices and Energy (the
Commission) resolved on January 1, 2010 to issue LITGRID UAB - a daughter
company of Lietuvos Energija AB - an electricity transmission license. As of
January 1, 2010 the license of electricity transmission, held by Lietuvos
Energija AB, expires. 

The Commission, with regard to the application and additional information,
submitted by LITGRID, resolved to permit LITGRID UAB to apply electricity
transmission services prices, set by the resolution of the Commission dated
November 26, 2009. 

Moreover, the Commission adopted a resolution to issue BALTPOOL UAB - a
daughter company of LITGRID UAB - a license of the electricity market operator,
and Lietuvos Energija AB - a license of an independent supplier.
