Valmet Corporation's Interim Review for January 1 - March 31, 2014 will be
published on Friday, April 25, 2014 at approximately 9:00 a.m. Finnish time
(EET). The stock exchange release and presentation material in Finnish and in
English will be available at that time on the company's website at
www.valmet.com/investors.

News conference for investors and media

Valmet will arrange a news conference in English for investment analysts,
portfolio managers, and the media on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Finnish
time (EET). The news conference will be held at Valmet's Head Office in
Keilaniemi, Keilasatama 5, 02150 Espoo, Finland. President and CEO Pasi Laine
and CFO Markku Honkasalo will be presenting at the news conference.

The news conference can also be followed through a live webcast at
www.valmet.com/webcasts. The live webcast starts at 1:00 p.m. (EET) and a
recording of the webcast will be available at shortly afterwards in the same
address.

The news conference can be participated also through a conference call.
