QPR SOFTWARE PLC TO ACQUIRE ITS OWN SHARES

QPR Software Plc´s Board of Directors has today decided, according to 
the authorization granted by the Annual General Meeting, to acquire
its own shares. According to the authorization the company may
acquire own shares in order to strengthen the company's capital structure, to
be used as payment in corporate acquisitions or when the company acquires
assets related to its business and as part of the company's incentive
programmes in a manner and to the extent decided by the Board of Directors, and
to be transferred for other purposes or to be cancelled. 

The acquisition of own shares will start at the earliest on April 6, 2007.
The shares will be acquired through public trading on the Helsinki
Stock Exchange at the market price prevailing at the time of
acquisition. According to the decision by the Board of Directors the
company may acquire maximum of 250,000 own shares.
