The center starts to serve the customers in the near-by region and will later expand its operations. Comptel has significant telecom operator customers in Bulgaria, Romania, Albania and Greece. Furthermore, the East European telecom markets offer new growth opportunities for Comptel. The customer service center will be established in cooperation with a local software company. The center is estimated to have 6-10 employees at the end of this year and to grow in the future. Operations in Bulgaria will bring Comptel closer to the customers, support the growth opportunities in Eastern Europe, facilitate the recruitment of IT and software specialists and strengthen the profitability of Comptel's service business. During 2008 Comptel has increased its personnel also in Malaysia. A product development organisation has been established in Kuala Lumpur with 25 employees recruited so far. This number is expected to grow in 2009. Increasing the product development capacity in Malaysia brings Comptel new talent from the local developed employment market and enables further development of Comptel's competitive cost structure.
