SAMI SARELIUS TO FINNAIR'S EXECUTIVE BOARD

Finnair Group's Vice President and General Counsel Sami Sarelius has been
appointed as member of Finnair Plc's Executive Board as of 20 August 2010. He
will act as secretary of the Executive Board. 

Sarelius is also the secretary for Finnair Plc's Board of Directors and the
Management Board of the Finnair Group.
