In January-November, the sales from continuing operations were €8,931.5 million (excluding VAT), up 3.6%. The sales from foreign operations in November were €148.2 million, a decrease of 20.3%. Foreign operations accounted for 21% of the Group's sales. In November, Kesko Food's sales were €339.0 million, representing a decrease of 1.6%. Sales to K-food store chains grew by 2.1%. The number of delivery days in November was two less than in the previous year. Rautakesko's sales decreased by 20.8% to €171.6 million in November. Sales in Finland were down 24.3%. Sales abroad decreased by 19.1%. In the Baltic countries, sales dropped by 20.4%. Stroymaster's sales in Russia increased by 32.1%. VV-Auto's sales in November were €45.9 million, which was 30.6% more than in the previous year. The comparable year's sales decrease was due to the car tax change published in November 2007. The market share of passenger cars represented by VV-Auto was 17.6% (11.3%) in November. Anttila's November sales were €52.8 million, a decrease of 1.5%. The sales of Anttila department stores decreased by 1.7% and those of Kodin Ykkönen department stores by 3.3%. NetAnttila's distance sales were up 2.2%. Kesko Agro's sales in November were €62.4 million, down 12.1%. Sales in Finland decreased by 11.1% due to the grain trade. Sales in the Baltic countries dropped by 13.5% as a result of the decline in the construction machinery trade. On 28 February 2008, the Kesko Group classified Kauko-Telko, and on 31 March 2008, Tähti Optikko Group as discontinuing operations, which is why the sales of those operating activities are not included in the above figures. Starting from July 2007, Rautakesko's sales figures include the sales of OMA, the Belarusian subsidiary of Rautakesko's subsidiary Senukai. Change, % indicates the change over the corresponding period of the previous year. In November 2008, the number of selling days in Kesko's wholesale was 20, which was two less than in November 2007. In January-November, the total number of wholesale selling days was the same as in the previous year. The number of retail days in November was the same as last year.
