CORRECTION TO FINANCIAL STATEMENTS REVIEW PUBLISHED 26 FEB 2009 AT 10:00 A.M.   
There was a typing error in Ruukki Group Plc‘s Financial Statements Review today
regarding the cash effect for 2009 of the 19,000,000 share buy-back trading     
plan.                                                                           

The correct cash effect for 2009 is about EUR 20.9 million.
