Marimekko Corporation (Business Identity Code 0111316-2) has received on 28
April 2016 an announcement pursuant to Chapter 9, Section 5 of the Securities
Markets Act regarding a change in its shareholding according to which Oy Moomin
Characters Ltd’s (Business Identity Code 0357404-2) share of Marimekko
Corporation´s shares and voting rights has exceeded five (5) percent. The
current holding of Oy Moomin Characters Ltd is 585,000 shares which equals 7.23
percent of Marimekko Corporations’ total amount of shares. The change in
holdings took place on 27 April 2016. 

Marimekko Corporation has a total of 8,089,610 shares and each share entitles
to one vote.
