Invitation to a briefing and teleconference

Vacon Plc, Stock Exchange Announcement, 31 July 2009 at 10.15 a.m.:

Vacon will publish its Interim report for the period 1 January- 30
June 2009 on Wednesday, 5 August, 2009 at 9.30 a.m. Finnish time
(EET).

A briefing for the financial analysts and media will be held on the
same day in Helsinki, Sokos Hotel Vaakuna, meeting room Vaakuna in
restaurant Loiste, address Asema-aukio 2, at 11:30 a.m. Finnish time
(9:30 UK time). Please inform Vacon IR, Johanna Koskinen of your
participation no later than 3 August at 1 p.m.

A telephone conference for financial analysts and investors,
conducted in English, will begin at 3:00 p.m. Finnish time (EET).
