TELESTE GROUP'S CABLEWAY RECEIVES ORDER FROM LARGE GERMAN TELECOM OPERATOR

A German telecom operator has placed an order on a fiber network project from
Teleste's local services company. The project value is approximately EUR 3.7
million and it includes building of a broadband communication network excluding
house networks, in Mettmann, Germany. Supplied on a so-called turnkey basis the
project aims to respond to requirements for fastest internet connectivity and
it will run for approximately six months. The received fiber network order
represents one of the growth areas as specified in Teleste's services business
strategy. 

Construction of fiber-optic networks in Germany has been increasing rapidly in
the first half of the year, and many operators are building or considering the
building of broadband networks based either partially or entirely on
fiber-optic technology. Teleste has previously provided these so-called FTTH
networks on a pilot project basis.
