Publishing of Raute's Interim Report and invitation to a briefing

RAUTE'S INTERIM REPORT AND INVITATION TO A  BRIEFING 

Raute Corporation will publish its Interim Report for January 1 - March 31,
2012 (3 months) on Friday, May 4, 2012 at about 9 a.m. Finnish time. A briefing
for analysts, investors and the media will be organized on Monday, May 7, 2012,
at 2:00 - 3:00 p.m., at Scandic Simonkentta Hotel, Roba cabinet, Simonkatu 9,
Helsinki. 

You are welcome to hear about our financial performance for the first three
months of 2012 as well as about our prospects for the remaining part of 2012.
The plywood market and outlook in Latin America will be discussed more closely
in the briefing. The presentations will be made by Raute Corporation's
President and CEO Tapani Kiiski and CFO Arja Hakala.
