Dotnuvos projektai, UAB, on a parity basis owned by Linas Agro Group, AB and managers of the company, has set up subsidiary Dotnuvos projektai AS in the city of Viljandi, Estonia. The company will be engaged in sales of harvesters, tractors, agricultural implements, grain storage facilities and certified seeds. In Estonia like in others Baltic States the company will sell products of worldwide known manufacturers of the agricultural machinery and facilities - Case IH (USA), Kverneland Group (Norway), Cimbria (Denmark). “Estonian market is new for us, although up to date we have traded in small lots of certified seeds through local partners. We have taken over exclusive representation rights for Baltic States from the main partners, manufacturers of the agricultural machinery, and now will be mostly focussed on the trade in tractors, harvesters and agricultural implements. Currently we carry on negotiations about purchase of the agricultural machinery trade and service centre and deal with opening of the regional trade and service network. We have already employed regional sales managers with significant experience and knowledge of the market and products,”- told Rimantas Dapkus, General Director of Dotnuvos projektai UAB.
