Sanitec - Company Announcement

Notification in accordance with the Finnish Securities Markets Act chapter 9 § 5: a decrease in the holdings of Sofia IV S.à r.l.

The actual acceptance period in the tender offer (the “Offer”) by Geberit AG
(“Geberit”) concerning all outstanding shares in Sanitec Corporation (“Sanitec”)
ended on 2 February 2015 at 5 p.m. (CET). Sofia IV S.à r.l., which is ultimately
controlled by EQT IV Limited, had on 14 October 2014 notified Sanitec that it
had signed an irrevocable undertaking to sell all the 20,000,000 shares it holds
in Sanitec to Geberit in the Offer.

Sanitec has today received from Sofia IV S.à r.l. a new notification pursuant to
chapter 9, section 5 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act. According to the
notification, the ownership of Sofia IV S.à r.l. in Sanitec decreases to zero on
10 February 2015 pursuant to the completion of the Offer.

Sanitec has currently 100,000,000 registered shares, each share entitling to one
vote at the general meeting of shareholders.
