Atkey Limited (register number 1456426, British Virgin Islands) announces that, based on the decision made by Ruukki Group Plc's Board to cancel altogether 13,052,022 treasury shares held by Ruukki Group Plc and published on 19 January 2010, its ownership will exceed 20% of the registered share capital and voting rights of Ruukki Group Plc after the cancellation has been registered at the Trade Register. Atkey Limited holds altogether 50,281,401 Ruukki Group Plc shares which correspond to 20.28% of the registered share capital and voting rights of Ruukki Group Plc after the treasury shares are cancelled.
