Pursuant to the Securities Markets Act, Chapter 2, Paragraph 10, Marimekko
Corporation (Business Identity Code 0111316-2) announces that it has been
informed that Muotitila Ltd's (Business Identity Code 2150336-0), a company
controlled by Mr Mika Ihamuotila, share of Marimekko Corporation´s shares and
voting rights has exceeded 3/20, i.e. increased to 16.04% as a result of
transaction concluded on 20 November 2012. 

According to the disclosure, Muotitila Ltd's share of Marimekko Corporation´s
shares and voting rights is the following:
