Evli Bank Plc: Proposal by the major shareholders on the composition of the Board of Directors

EVLI BANK PLC STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE JANUARY 23, 2019, 9.00 AM

Evli Bank Plc's shareholders who represent approximately 75 percent of the
voting rights of the shares propose to the next Annual General Meeting, which is
planned to be held on March 12, 2019, that six members be elected to the Board
of Directors and that the present members Henrik Andersin, Robert Ingman, Mikael
Lilius and Teuvo Salminen be re-elected as members of the Board of Directors. In
addition, Sari Helander, Senior Vice President, Logistics Solutions at Posti
Group Corporation and Fredrik Hacklin, Professor at Vlerick Business School and
ETH Zurich would be elected as new members of the Board of Directors.

The present board member Johanna Lamminen has informed that she will no longer
be a candidate for Evli Bank Plc's Board of Directors.

Other proposals by the major shareholders and the Board of Directors to the
Annual General Meeting will be published in connection with the notice of the
Annual General Meeting.
