                        New Corporate Finance leadership


Hjörleifur  Pálsson, CFO, has decided to leave Össur after leading the Corporate
Finance  division for 12 years. Sveinn Sölvason  has been appointed CFO and will
become a member of the Össur Executive Management. These management changes will
become effective as of 30(th) of April.

Sveinn  joined Össur in 2009 as director  of Treasury, Corporate Development and
Investor  Relations. Sveinn  holds a  Master's Degree  in Finance and Accounting
(Cand.Merc.FIR)  from Copenhagen Business School.  Prior to joining Össur Sveinn
worked  in business development at Marel and  has an extensive experience in the
banking  and finance industry with companies including; Kaupthing, Goldman Sachs
and HSH-Nordbank.
