Appointment in Vaisala's management group

Timo Raikaslehto, M.Sc. (Econ.), has been appointed Senior Vice
President and a member of the strategic management group starting
March 1, 2009.

Timo Raikaslehto joins Vaisala from Nokia, where he has worked for
ten years in various leadership positions, most recently as Vice
President, Operational Excellence and Quality. Prior to joining
Nokia, he was employed by Mecrastor Coopers and Lybrand as a
Consultant Director.
