Mr. Stefan Björkman appointed CFO of Aktia Group

The Board of Directors of Aktia has appointed deputy managing
director Stefan Björkman CFO of Aktia Group as of 19 August 2008. In
addition, he is still responsible for the segment Corporate banking &
Treasury. Björkman has been acting head of Aktia's Group Accounts
since January 2008.
