Lietuvos energija, AB - Notification on material event

Regarding the Changes of the Organisational Structure of Lietuvos energija, AB

Elektrėnai, Lithuania, 2012-11-30 11:31 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- In order to
optimize the processes of production, to extend the use of good business
management practice, to carry out measures laid down in the action plan of the
Lietuvos energija, AB and to allocate the functions of the employees with more
efficiency, The Board of Lietuvos energija, AB has adopted decision, which
should be executed till January 1, 2013, to: 

  -- Establish new department of the company - Production Department, which will
     be comprised from the Hydroelectric Power Plants Department and the
     Lithuanian Power Plants Department;
  -- Divide functions of the Strategy and Development Department and pass them
     on to Process Development Division and on to Expansion Project Division,
     thus eliminating Construction Projects Department and changing the name of 
     Strategy and Development Department  to the Business Development
     Department;
  -- Supplement the functions of the Communication Division with functions of
     corporate communications (which cover all the Lietuvos energija, AB Group)
     thus changing the name of the Communication Division to the Corporate
     Communication Division;
  -- Reallocate the functions of Wholesale Electricity Trade Department within
     Departments' Divisions, thus changing the name of the Divisions of
     Department: from Electricity import-export Division to Analysis Division
     and from Electricity trading and planning Division toTrading and Planning
     Division . .

Due to the organisational structure changes of Lietuvos energija, AB, the
number of the employees of the company will not change. Expected benefits are
not related to the number of employees, but to the efficiency of work processes
and reallocation of the functions.
