LITGRID AB - Notification on material event

LITGRID AB shares held by UAB Visagino Atominė Elektrinė transferred to UAB EPSO-G

Vilnius, Lithuania, 2012-09-28 09:00 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On 27 September
2012 the shares of the electricity transmission system operator LITGRID AB held
by UAB Visagino Atominė Elektrinė were transferred by reimbursement to UAB
EPSO-G. The shares of the newly established UAB EPSO-G are managed by the right
of trust by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania. 

This action implemented the requirements of the European Union's Third Energy
Package and the Law on Energy of the Republic of Lithuania on the unbundling of
electricity transmission system operators from the vertically integrated
enterprises, directly or indirectly exercising control over the daily
electricity generation and (or) supply activities.
