BOARD/MANAGEMENT/AUDIT 


REDIVISION OF TASKS IN YIT'S GROUP MANAGEMENT                                   

The division of tasks in YIT's Group management has been realigned in order to  
firm up management and strengthen key functions.                                

CFO Sakari Ahdekivi (44), M.Sc. (Econ.), is responsible for YIT Corporation's   
accounting and finance functions, investor relations, legal services, human     
resources administration, internal audit as well as equipment services,         
insurance services, facility management, logistics and IT.                      
                                                                                
Executive Vice President Sakari Toikkanen (40), Lic. (Tech.), attends to the    
Group's strategic planning and acquisitions.                                    

Antero Saarilahti (59), Vice President, Administration, M.Sc. (Eng.), focuses on
preparatory work on YIT Corporation Board matters and serves as the secretary to
the Board. Saarilahti is responsible for the Group's administrative services,   
strategic personnel planning as well as shop steward and labour market relations
at the Group level.                                                             

Juha Kostiainen (42), Vice President, Business Development, Ph.D. (Admin.),     
M.Sc. (Eng.), has been appointed as Vice President, Corporate Communications and
Business Development, with Virva Salmivaara (29), M.Sc. (Pol.Sc.), as his       
deputy. In addition to communications, Kostiainen is responsible for the brand, 
stakeholder relations as well as the R&D strategy.                              

Veikko Myllyperkiö (61), M.Sc. (Pol.Sc.), formerly Vice President, Corporate    
Communications, will focus on the analysis of changes in the Group's business   
environment and mentoring Corporate Communications. Vice President Myllyperkiö  
reports to the Vice President of Communications and Business Development.       

Ahdekivi, Toikkanen, Kostiainen and Saarilahti report to Group CEO Hannu        
Leinonen.                                                                       

The changes in positions come into effect on October 8, 2007.
