DnB NORD Bankas AB - Notification on material event

Regarding the squeeze-out of the shares of AB DnB NORD Bankas

AB DnB NORD Bankas, company code 112029270, VAT payer's code LT120292716,
registered office J. Basanavičiaus st. 26, Vilnius, the data about the company
is collected and stored at the Register of Legal Entities, informs that AB DnB
NORD Bankas, acting in accordance with Part 9 of Article 37 of the Law on
Securities of the Republic of Lithuania,  published the notification on the
squeeze-out of the shares in the daily newspaper Lietuvos rytas on 22 April
2009. 

The notification of AB DnB NORD Bankas on the squeeze-out of the shares is
attached. 

The implementation of the squeeze-out commences on 23 April 2009 and shall last
for 90 (ninety) days, that is, until 21 July 2009 (inclusive).
