GEOSENTRIC RECEIVES FIRST INVESTMENT COMMITMENT IN ITS OFFERING

GEOSENTRIC RECEIVES FIRST INVESTMENT COMMITMENT IN ITS OFFERING                 

As previously informed GeoSentric Oyj has been preparing a new financing round  
to raise up to EUR 25,000,000 to secure the working capital needs of the group  
and support the execution of the business plan. More details of the offering can
be found in Company's Q3 interim report to be released on November 23, 2009. The
offering has also been authorized by the Company's Extraordinary General Meeting
held on November 17, 2009.                                                      

GeoSentric Oyj has now received the first investment commitment of EUR 7,500,000
from the lead investor participating in the offering. The offering will continue
until March 31st 2010 unless closed before. The final terms of the financing    
will be confirmed upon closing.
