SOCIETE GENERALE TO ISSUE SEVEN NEW TURBOS. THE ISSUE INCLUDES TURBOS ON THE
DAX INDEX, THE NOKIA PLC SHARE AND THE UPM-KYMMENE PLC SHARE. 

Societe Generale, one of the leading issuers of covered warrants worldwide,
issues a total of seven new European Turbo warrants on the Helsinki Stock
Exchange (HEX). The Turbos will be subject to public trading on the HEX
Exchange List as of 19 November 2008. 

The underlying assets of the Turbos will be the DAX Index, the Nokia Plc share
and the UPM-Kymmene Plc share. The issue includes five Long Turbos and two
Short Turbos. 

The Turbos will be issued under the Societe Generale warrant program. The
Listing Particulars of the warrant program approved by the Finnish Financial
Supervision Authority on 22 July 2008 and consisting of the Base Prospectus,
the Supplements approved by the Finnish Financial Supervision Authority on 27
August 2008 and 18 November 2008 and the Final Terms relating to the Turbos to
be issued are available as of 18 November 2008 at the Societe Generale website
at www.sglistedproducts.fi, at the office of the HEX at Fabianinkatu 14,
Helsinki and at the office of the Paying agent at Nordea Bank Finland Plc at
