RUUKKI GROUP PUBLISHES A LETTER TO SHAREHOLDERS

Ruukki  Group Plc ("Ruukki" or the  "Company") (LSE: RKKI, OMX: RUG1V) announces
that,  in connection with Notice of  Extraordinary General Meeting dispatched to
shareholders  on  14 June  2013, it  has  today  sent  an  explanatory letter to
shareholders in accordance with the Listing Rules.

A copy of the letter is available on the Company's website and has been
submitted to the National Storage Mechanism ("NSM") and will shortly be
available for inspection on the NSM's website at www.hemscott.com/nsm.do.
