Subscription dates under option rights 2003 A, 2003 B, 2003 C and 2006 A in 2008

HUHTAMÄKI OYJ STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 1.4.2008 AT 9.00

The subscription dates for shares under the option rights 2003 A,
2003 B and 2003 C in 2008 will be the following:

- Wednesday May 21, 2008
- Wednesday June 25, 2008
- Wednesday July 23, 2008
- Wednesday August 27, 2008
- Wednesday September 24, 2008
- Wednesday October 29, 2008.

Huhtamäki Oyj will apply in fall 2008 for the A option rights under
the 2006 option rights plan, adopted by the General Meeting of
Shareholders held on March 27, 2006, to be listed on the OMX Nordic
Exchange Helsinki so that the listing will commence on October 1,
2008.

The subscription dates for shares under the option rights 2006 A in
2008 will be the following:

- Wednesday October 29, 2008
- Wednesday November 12, 2008
