Owner of SC Vilniaus degtinė Belvédère group to be restructured under Dijon court verdict

On the 10th of November Commercial Tribunal of Dijon (France) registered
restructurization plan of concern Belvédère SA. Actions registered in the plan
allows Belvedere group to consolidate, carry out normal business with no
outside impediments and to develop world-known brands such as Sobieski, Marie
Brizard, Danzka, William Peel, San Jose and many more. International concern
Belvédère SA owns 68,29 percent of stocks of Lithuanian spirits producer SC
Vilniaus degtinė. 
CEO of SC Vilniaus degtinė Mr. Danas Kerbelis affirms that restructurization of
Belvédère group will not influence activities of Vilniaus degtinė. Mr. Kerbelis
notes that this kind of verdict was surely expected when having in mind
perspectives, strategy and high professionallity of Belvédère group. Investors'
reliance on the company is well illustrated not only by the stock growth this
October, but also by investment plans considered by famous american actor and
director Bruce Willis. 
International concern Belvédère SA has subsidiaries and joint-stock enterprises
in over 25 countries worldwide. The company specializes in production and sales
of alcoholic beverages as well as development and management of their brands. 
Today  Belvédère SA owns 150 registered brands of alcoholic beverages. These
include Sobieski Vodka - a product taking the 6th place in the vodka category
in the international register of wines and spirits “IWSR Elite Brands List
2009“. Bruce Willis is the official star of the recent worldwide advertising
campaign of Sobieski Vodka. 
SC Vilniaus degtinė  produces Sobieski branded vodka exceptionally by using
locally produced alcohol. Lithuanian Sobieski Vodka  is being sold in
Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
