According to the announcement, as the forward contracts in possession of Nordea Bank AB (publ) and its Finnish subsidiary Nordea Pankki Suomi Oyj (business ID code 1680235-8) mature, the holding of Nordea Group and Nordea Pankki Suomi Oyj in Alma Media Corporation will fall below 1/10. Nordea Bank AB announces that the forward contracts, due to mature December 2007, have been extended to longer maturities and that the holding of Nordea Group and Nordea Pankki Suomi Oyj in Alma Media Corporation has thus risen above 3/20 as a result of trading on 27 December 2007. Nordea Pankki Suomi Oyj has on 27 December 2007 purchased 975.000 Alma Media's shares and presently holds 12.102.262 shares, representing 16.22 % of Alma Media's share capital and voting rights. Nordea Bank AB (publ) holds 6.000 Alma Media shares, representing 0.008 % of share capital and voting rights. Furthermore, Nordea Life Assurance Finland Ltd. (business ID 0927072-8), a subsidiary of the Nordea Group, owns 453.598 Alma Media shares, representing approximately 0.61% of the share capital and votes. Nordea Group owns altogether 12.561.860 Alma Media shares, or 16.84% of the share capital and votes. Nordea Pankki Suomi Oyj, according to previously announced, has made forward contracts on Alma Media Corporation shares. The deals have been made on the Stock Exchange with brokerage firms. Of those, 20.760 contracts (2.076.000 shares) mature in January 2008; 75.732 contracts (7.573.200 shares) mature in February 2008; 24.530 contracts (2.453.000 shares) mature in March 2008. As the forward contracts mature in January 2008, the holding of Nordea Pankki Suomi Oyj and Nordea Group will fall below 3/20, and when the forward contracts mature in February 2008, below 1/20. Nordea Pankki Suomi Oyj has acquired the Alma Media Corporation shares it now owns as part of its liquidity guarantee business.
