2010-08-09 08:02:55 CEST 2010-08-09 08:03:50 CEST REGULATED INFORMATION Atlantic Petroleum P/F - Company AnnouncementSuccessful Blackbird well test appraisalTórshavn, Faroe Islands, 9th August 2010 - P/F Atlantic Petroleum (OMX:FO-ATLA) announces test update of the Blackbird discovery in the UK Central North Sea. The 20/2a-9 well, operated by Nexen, was drilled in a water depth of approximately 367 feet to a total measured depth of 12,000 feet targeting a high quality Upper Jurassic oil discovery. It encountered 389' of gross pay and 90' of net pay. The well flowed at a facilities constrained stable flowrate of 7000 bopd through a 38/64" choke.
